our 2014 Little Miss Addison Sloan & Mr. Carl Rathje

2014 Linn County Fair Little Miss Candidates:

Addison Sloan

Addison is five years old and the daughter of Eric and Jen Sloan. She loves The Linn County Fair because she gets to show sheep and because she likes the rides and playing with her friends.

Anaka Bressler

Anaka is seven years old and the daughter of Troy and Christal Bressler. She likes The Linn County Fair because she gets to talk to other people in 4H that give her ideas for future projects. She also likes to bring projects she made during the year for judging and setting up the lucky club booth.

Breanne Balderston

Breanne is the eight and a half year old daughter of Aaron and Dawniell Balderston. Her favorite thing about The Linn County Fair is getting to show in the kiddie lamb and calf classes. She also enjoys watching and helping her brother with his projects and meeting new friends

 

Caitlin Benesh

Caitlin is the eight year old daughter of Aaron and Kim Benesh. Caitlin’s favorite thing about the fair is watching the horse and livestock shows because she looks forward to showing her horses and livestock in the up-coming years.

Evie Gehring

Evie is nine years old and the daughter of David and Susan Gehring. Her favorite thing about The Linn County Fair is being a Clover Kid and showing her projects. Last year she made cookies and 2 ABC photo books for her friends. She had fun talking to the judges about them. This year she is making carrot cake and showing two photos. Her other favorite thing is helping her sister get her chickens ready for the fair. She also loves the lemonade and the rides.

Gabryla Schmidt

Gabryla Schmidt is the eight year old daughter of Dana and Eric Schmidt. Her favorite thing about the fair is showing her cattle because she gets to see many other cows and kids. Plus she gets to see all the different colors and sizes of cows.

 

Jayda Bowman

Jayda Bowman is eight years old and the daughter of Jarod and Leann Bowman. She likes the petting zoo at the fair because she likes to help feed and take care of the animals, especially the horses. She also likes to be in the sandbox and make new friends.

Madison Demean

Madison is the seven year old daughter of Mike and Dawn Demean. Her favorite things at the fair are petting animals and riding on the rides. She also likes to see other people’s projects and the different kinds of animals.

Sara Appleget

Sara is six years old and the daughter of Kristine and Chis Appleget. Her favorite thing about the fair is the 4H exhibits because she is a clover kid and she learns from them. She also likes the animals.

   

2014 Linn County Fair Little Mr. Candidates:

Carl Rathje

Carl is the nine year old son of Jon and Vicki Rathje. His favorite thing about the fair is the kiddie calf show. He likes it because he gets to dress up his calf and himself in a costume. It is fun and funny. He also likes watching different animal judging.

Ethan Parish-Steffen

Ethan is the seven year of Chad Steffen and Tiffany Parish. Ethan’s favorite things about the fair is seeing the animals, watching the animal shows, showing in the kiddie calf show, and riding the rides!

Joel Robertson

Joel is the seven and a half year old son of Travis and Carrie Robertson. His favorite thing about The Linn County Fair is being a clover kid and this year he is going to show some pictures he took. He also enjoys the zoo because he likes to help take care of the animals and play in the sand. Then he likes to get cleaned off and eat a Dilly Bar. He also plans to enter the edible bug contest.

Nicholas Hansen

Nicholas is the six year old son of Donald and Melissa Hansen. His favorite thing about the fair is going to the different livestock events. He enjoys being part of Clover Kids and making projects to take to the fair. He enjoys the kiddie pedal tractor pull and going on the rides at the fair. He also is a member of the Prairie Union Wildcats 4H club.

Tucker Klima

Tucker is six years old and the son of Michael and Lauren Klima. His favorite thing about the fair is the tractor pull because he likes to see the tractors and because it is loud. He likes to go with his dad and grandpa. At this year’s fair, he is going to do the kiddie tractor pull and kiddie calf show. He also will be in the beef barn a lot helping his big sister with her animals.

The mission of The Linn County Fair Association is to provide opportunities for 4-Her's, FFA members and the youth of Linn County to showcase their accomplishments and talents in a safe family atmosphere while providing activities, entertainment and learning opportunities to the diverse citizens of Linn County and guests.

Our goal as The Linn County Fair is to provide cost effective entertainment & educational activities for the guests of The Linn County Fair.
This includes free gate and parking for all attendees.
