Little Mr. & Miss Contest

2017 Little Miss Applicants

Makaila Arnold
Makaila is the daughter of Lori Osterkamp and Doug Arnold. Her favorite thing about The Linn County fair is having fun with her friends. When she grows up she wants to be a Linn County Fair Association Member. Makaila is a good friend because she cares about people.
Sophia Arnold
Sophia is the daughter of Lori Osterkamp and Doug Arnold. Her favorite thing about The Linn County Fair is riding all the rides because it is fun. Sophia is a good friend because she is caring and likes to have a lot of fun. She wants to be a mommy when she grows up as well as work at The Linn County Fair.
Ashtyn Becker
Ashtyn is the daughter of Dustin and Stefanie Becker. Ashtyn’s favorite thing about The Linn County Fair is helping her brother and cousins with their fair animals and meeting new people. When she grows up, she would like to attend college to become a nurse. Ashtyn is a good friend because she is caring, trusting, and fun to be around.
Morgan Demean
Morgan is the daughter of Dawn and Mike Demean. Her favorite things about The Linn County Fair are seeing all the animals, pictures, and projects. When Morgan grows up she wants to be a nurse. She is also a good friend because she is willing to share with others.
Tori Evans
Tori is the daughter of Kipp and Tammy Evans. Her favorite thing about The Linn County Fair is making and showing her poster board over an event that she likes to do, as a clover kid. She is also a good friend because she helps her friends when they are hurt. When Tori grows up she wants to be a children’s author so she can write books that make kids happy!
Ava Hoover
Ava is the daughter of Matthew and Emily Hoover. She loves showing at the Little Shepard Show during The Linn County Fair because it is fun and exciting. When Ava grows up she wants to be a babysitter and a baker. She is a good friend because she cheers up her friends when they’re sad.

2017 Little Mr. Applicants

Cooper Adams
Cooper is the son of Brandon and Beth Adams. His favorite thing about The Linn County Fair is the pioneer tent because he enjoys making his own rope and grinding corn. When he grows up he wants to be an engineer so he can create new technology for the world. Cooper is a good friend because he is always kind to others even if they pick on him. He also gives friends compliments when they do a good job!
Brayden Beauregard
Brayden is the son of Scott and Tracy Beauregard. Brayden’s favorite things about The Linn County Fair are the tractor pull and the Little Shepard Show as it gives him a chance to show before becoming a 4-Her. When he grows up he wants to be a farmer for Blackford farms. Brayden is a good friend because he is caring and respectful of others.
Nicholas Hansen
Nicholas is the son of Donald Hansen. His favorite thing about The Linn County Fair is seeing all the different animals and playing with his friends. When Nicholas grows up he wants to be a U.S. Marine and he is a good friend because he is always willing to help his friends.
Ethan Parish-Steffen
Ethan is the son of Heidi and Chad Steffen and Tiffany and Richard Gutierrez. His favorite thing about The Linn County Fair is all the animals, and sheep riding. When Ethan grows up, he wants to be a farmer or basketball player. Ethan is a good friend because of his great listening skills.
Otto Steffen
Otto is the son of Heidi and Chad Steffen. Otto’s favorite thing about The Linn County Fair is all the animals because it reminds him of his grandpa’s farm. When he grows up he wants to be a farmer so he can milk cows. Otto is a good friend because he helps others and listens to them.

The Crowning

The reigning 2016 Little Miss Linn County Mr. and Miss handed off their titles at The 2017 Linn County Fair during the opening night of the fair, June 28th.

The 2017 Little Miss Linn County Fair is Ava Hoover. Ava is the daughter of Matthew and Emily Hoover. She loves showing at the Little Shepard Show during The Linn County Fair because it is fun and exciting. When Ava grows up she wants to be a babysitter and a baker.
